Day 8: Court the Gloom

"Court the Gloom" - 6 x 6 inches, acrylic on canvas panel. (ultramarine blue & titanium white)

I used subtractive technique on this one. First I covered the entire panel with a mid-tone wash of ultramarine blue. Next I used a baby wipe to remove paint in the sky area and the middle of the water. Then I added paint to darken the land on either side of the creek and to suggest motion in the nearer water.
